Cava San Miguel

La Cava San Miguel, the only rum house, is located in the city of Cuenca, a World Cultural Heritage Site, in the Narancay industrial complex, on the banks of the crystalline Tarqui River.

It is the testimonial scene of more than half a century of a fascinating history of knowledge, innovation, art and culture. Its spacious and romantic wineries keep thousands and thousands of oak barrels containing select distillates of sugar cane, the same as for the permeability and quality of the wood; the individual controls of each barrel; the sophisticated means of selection; and, of quality standards, they become over time the only natural and legitimate rum of Ecuador, approved by the BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO AND FIREARMS for consumption in the United States of North America.
